Alice in Wonderland on Ice
India’s first ever Ice theatre spectacle, ‘Alice in Wonderland on Ice’ is a theatrical extravaganza, replete with power-packed performances of over 25 stars and actors, wow-worthy ensembles and exhilarating display of athleticism by Russian figure skaters. Having been written in 1865 by the talented mathematician, poet and writer Lewis Carroll, the fairy tale went through various interpretations within its sesquicentennial. This time, a captivating family performance is taking us back to a childhood fairy-tale full of fantasy and excitement. The performance reminds us that it is worth dreaming and believing in ourselves at any age.
The story of Alice in Wonderland and her surreal adventures is well-known to everybody. Nevertheless, in-spite of a myriad of breath-taking performances already, the heroes tell us a new story of a 13-year-old girl in this performance, while gliding on ice! After running successfully across the world, the Broadway-style theatre is finally here in India. The show is here only for a limited period of time; so don't miss out on the opportunity to witness this enchanting masterpiece.
You could join Alice, Hatter and the other beloved characters in an unforgettable journey through wonderland in this perception-altering new play. Choreographed and performed by Russia’s Ice Vision, this is a full-family entertainer and the kids are bound to love it.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland on Ice is a story about little Alice who falls down a rabbit hole and lands into a fantasy world that is full of weird, wonderful people and animals.
She was feeling lonely when all of a sudden a White Rabbit rushes past her, talking to himself about how late he is. Alice instinctively follows him down a rabbit hole. She falls and falls. Often changing size unexpectedly (she grows as tall as a house and shrinks to three inches), Alice encounters such characters as the March Hare, the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar, the Mad Hatter, the Sonya Mouse and the Red Queen, Twedle Dee and Twedle Dum. In a garden of roses, Alice is witnesses the trial of the Knave of hearts, where she risks her life as the Red Queen shouts “Off with her head!.”
